Posting after a very long time on the group.
Had been to a short visit to Austria and Rome this summer. I could manage to get some pics.
These flowers were on the banks of a lake in Switzerland. Could you please ID the same.
A suggestion on Facebook indicated Aubretia species.
Would appreciate experts’ opinion.

It looks rather like a cultivar of Aubrieta deltoidea (Brassicaceae).
