TQ-Arunachal-09 Unidentified : 5 posts by 3 authors. Attachments (5) A tree with leathery, smooth leaves, seen wild in East Siang district, Arunachal Pradesh.
Found flowering in May-June.
Any clue to its identity will be helpful.
Oleaceae member, Chionanthus sp., Thanks for the lead … It agrees with Chionanthus henryanus, the only species around there with leathery leaves and stalkless flowers. It is native to Myanmar to Yunnan. Should be a new record for India.
