Flower from Phulchowki Peak Nepal : 16 posts by 5 authors. Attachments (1) Flower image not clear but looks like Isodon coetsa (Buch.-Ham. ex D.Don) Kudô ! I don’t believe Isodon coesta is correct the leaf type is very different. I am attaching another photo. Still quality of flower image is not clear. It is so blurred! And one more thing , please post images as many as possible including abaxial and adaxial leaf, stem, inflorescence, close up flower at different angles, fruits if available and habitat. Yes, I understand and apologise for the poor quality of these photos. I study odonata and I know how important a good photo is. I have two more photos. These are not the best either but maybe will help. If an ID is not possible I won’t include these in my blog or try another trip to get more photos. Please check Isodon scrophularioides (Wall. ex Benth.) Murata ! I think this seems interesting as we do not have anything similar as per comparative images at Isodon or Plectranthus I think it is Isodon repens, you can also visit the specimen here: To me it is more of Scutellaria voilacea, Author may double check for confirmation I doubt about Scutellaria violacea ! Even elevation does not match ! Thanks a lot, …, Yes seems to match with specimen in GBIF from Nepal. Also see Yes it is very close to Isodon repens as in the herbarium at GBIF and POWO as said by …
