Euonymous sp.

Thank you … for the hint.

Euonymus echinatus Wall.

We have three species of Euonymus here in H.P.

From same plant on 24 July 2018!
Attachments (3)- around 400 kb each.

I am  a bit confused about the fruit shape of this sp. My image and GBIF images

are matching but most of the net images show a spiny outer layer of the capsule.
https://ppbc.iplant.cn/tu/15979536
http://www.efloras.org/object_page.aspx?object_id=54047&flora_id=5

Then the id needs to be revisited.

GBIF image is also not matching:
What are the other options?

Among the listed species from Nepal only other species with  ascending subshrubs characteristics is Euonymus vagans Wall., which I guess is the closest match.

If that is the case then https://groups.google.com/g/indiantreepix/c/gAJ
should be a different sp since it is a medium size tree with thick trunk.

Yes, you appear to be right.

Can be Euonymus lucidus

Euonymus species, E. pendulus perhaps.

Euonymus lucidus is not listed in Nepal and E.  pendulus does not look like matching.
Could it be Could it be Euonymus echinatus Wall.  ??

E. lucidus and E. pendulus are same. E. pendulus is synonym.

I will post all stages in my post.

Images of my post does not look like match with any of posts in efi as well as FoI.

I guess this looks more close to Euonymus echinatus Wall.
