Location: Kathmandu Valley
Date:  October 2020
Elevation: 1500m.
Habitat  : Wild

Although fruiting bodies are still immature but this reminds me of Flammulina sp. (Physalacriaceae)
… any idea of wood host tree please try to collect host tree data also while picturing mushroom beacause many a times it really aids in correct identification of mushroom.
I will post my Flammulina cf. populonica images for comparison shortly.

It was a decayed root stock. I shall keep in mind in future!

Thanks, …
Catalogue of life shows Flammulina under family Charopidae

Flammulina belongs to Physalacriaceae as per COL and most recent papers and other sites http://www.catalogueoflife.org/col/details/species/id/763e441f9de7ec8f7bcf322879c8ebe2
Sir I think you confused it with Flammulina Suter. now basionym of Phenacohelix genera which belongs to Charopidae (Mollusca) and is a land snail genera and family, not a mushroom 🙂

Thanks, …, Sorry, for the confusion.

Yes It is  Flammulina sp, (Physalacriaceae) close to F. velutipes (Curtis) Singer
