Appears close to Grewia rothii as per GBIF– specimen1 and specimen 2

It looks like Grewia rothii. Though, difficult to confirm the identity with this image alone.

Catalogue of Life lists Grewia rothii DC. as a syn. of Grewia excelsa Vahl

Is it correct ?

Even GBIF and IPNI says so but not POWO !

As of my current understanding Grewia rothii DC. is distinct from Grewia excelsa and a complex with Grewia bicolor Juss.
Whereas Grewia excelsa is either distinct or allied to Grewia arborea.
