Flora of Uttarakhand- Herb65 for Id- JM: Wild Herb captured on 13/8/10 during the trek from Ghangaria (around 11,000 ft.) to Hemkunt Sahib (around 14000 ft.).

Caryophyllaceae, may be some species of Cerastrium.

… or species of Stellaria.

Stellaria pubera??

Stellaria pubera I suppose is not reported from Himalayas

Thanks, … I think it doesn’t matches with any species of Cerastrium or Stellaria mentioned in Concise Flowers of Himalayas by Oleg Polunin & Adam Stainton.

Can it be Myosoton species?
Appears similar to the thread on Myosoton aquaticum (L.) Moench though a bit different
efi thread#

Genus Myosoton is distinguished on the basis of 5 styles. This one has only three.

Perhaps this could be Stellaria uliginosa var. undulata (Thunb.) Fenzl, ; in Ledeb., Fl. Ross. 1: 393 (1842).

May we take it as Stellaria graminea as per … post in the following thread: efi thread

May be same as at Stellaria species- Jitpur Phedi & Nagarkot, Nepal

Is there any chance of this being Stellaria patens var. ovatifolia H. Hara
(though endemic to Nepal) ?
