Saw this Clematis en route VOF from Ghangaria, Uttarakhand in Aug 2018.
Can this identified based on the leaves? No flowers were seen.
Please check Clematis barbellata Edgew.
Search of efi for Clematis barbellata brought up C. barbellata and C. montana.
The leaves in these pics match C. montana.
Could this be C. montana instead?
May be but I am not sure !
