Please find attached herewith Habenaria barnessii, a rare endemic endangered Orchid species from Kerala.

Place: Munnar – Kerala

Altitude – 2000m

Habitat: Grassland

Collected during first week of November 2022

When I tried reducing the size, it became like that.

Something is pollinating these flowers. Good to find out what!! Could be a very nice study……

A very good suggestion.

I too am interested, however, it is at high altitude in Kerala and nights are terrible.

Thinking that it is a nocturnal pollination.

Still we can go for a try.
