I hope Ligularia fischeri Yes Ligularia fischeri just that key says flowers drooping but here it doesnt seem so. I assume that is not a key character. I have seen this plant. Will upload mine when I get to my main VoF photos.

Senecio jacquemontianus from valley Common plant in the way to valley Would be interesting to resolve whether it is Senecio jacquemontianus (now Ligularia jacquemontiana) or Senecio ligularia (now correctly Ligularia fischeri…..I have identified thus in … post). I could not find differences in literature. Former is reported from Kashmir only, latter from W, Himalayas. May be due this confusion it is not there in Keshava Murty Book. After many observations i also reached on the conclusion that this is Ligularia fischeri as leaves are longer in S jacquemontianus. Pics of this are there in Flowers of Himalaya (Plate 66) I too will go for Ligularia fischeri. Ligularia fischeri from Paddar valley J&K: Family: Compositae

I have collected this plant species from the upper reaches of Kashmir Himalaya. Please help me to identify the same. I think it’s Ligularia fisheri, but i want your suggestions.
Looks good! But I am having doubts as per images at Ligularia fischeri (Ledeb.) Turcz. Thank you for your response. Do you have other images ?
If so, pl. post as details are not clear.
I have not found such dense inflorescence in Ligularia fischeri (Ledebour) Turczaninow as per GBIF.
I found following species being found in Kashmir but did not find a match as per GBIF:
Thank you … Here are some of the images of this plant. Thanks, … These images give a better idea. Of the three species reported from Kashmir both L. amplexicaulis and L. thomsoni have corymbose inflorescence axis, single ray floret in a head in L. thomsonii, S. amplexicaulis with few ray florets. L. fisheri with heads in elongated racemose axis, few ray florets and some pendant heads seems to fit well. . SK 3068 22 October 2021: 9 very high res. images.
