Has anyone come across this Sapotaceae tree?
Tree has latex, fruit is pulpy. Pulp is starchy, tastes like apple, smell like chikkoo, after eating (Sweet), latex can be felt on the lips. Also- hidden test of burnt Caramel. Skin of the fruit is thin. Seeds 1 to 2 in a fruit. Comes close to the Brazilian Genus Pouteria. Any ID? Place and time of sighting may help in ID. I suppose this may be…Chrysophyllum roxburghii.
