This unidentified orchid was shot in Kisan Mela at Pantnagar. It was cultivated at Jeolikot by some and displayed at Pantnagar. It is not clear whether it is an exclusively cultivated form or collected from wild and cultivated. Seems Cymbidium sp. Please suggest ID. Hahahaha…. I am pretty sure that inflorescence didn’t come out of that pot !!! Flowers look like Cymbidium iridioides.
The plants on the base are most likely to be Oncidium.

Yes sir this should be Cymbidium iridoides. I am so happy to see the fruits. It means pollinators are present and hence chances of new recruitment are high. |
