Dodecadenia grandiflora Nees, Pl. Asiat. Rar. 2: 63 1831. (syn: Actinodaphne monantha (Yang & P.H. Huang) H.P. Tsui; Laurus macrophylla D. Don; Laurus pallens Meisn.; Laurus pubescens D. Don ex Nees; Litsea grandiflora (Nees) Kosterm.; Litsea monantha Yen C. Yang & P.H. Huang; Tetranthera grandiflora Wall.);
China (W-Sichuan, NW-Yunnan), SE-Tibet, Nepal, Myanmar [Burma] (Chin, Kachin,
Sagaing, Shan), India (Arunachal Pradesh) as per Catalogue of Life; 

Tree to 15m, shoots with elllipsoid terminal vegetative buds. Leaves coraiceous, elliptic-oblanceolate, 8-11 x 2-3cm, shhortly acuminate, base cuneate, almost glabrous, finely reticulate on both surfaces, lateral veins 7-10 pairs, slender, scarcely prominent; petioles 5-12mm. Flower buds subsessile, globose, scales appressed silky, containing 1-2 large flowers 1.4-1.6cm across. Perianth segments oblong 7-9mm. Fruit c 1.5 x 1cm, reddish, borne on thick woody perianth cup 8-9mm across, on stout pedicel 3-5mm.

The axillary cymes and presence of a cupule subtending the fruits point to the  family Lauraceae.

This was posted earlier by … in a mixture, as indicated by …(the last image there).  Could it possibly be a Ficus?  I do not know.  I thought of Lauraceae as it appeared to have a short cupule at the base of the fruits but I may be mistaken.  If Lauraceae then I am unable to suggest even a genus.  This would have been Lindera but I am not seeing any umbellate formation.  I am fully confused.

There is apparently a short cupule at the base of the fruits! If yes then may be a Lauraceae.
