Habit : Cultivated i think its Sour cherry what we saw, picked, ate on our urban foraging walks with leaders of the group…. very enjoyable walks in nyc. look them up if you go back again. alternately it could also be one of the dwarf cherries, prunus sp that are known to occur in nyc boroughs for the dwarf cherry this an older publ for trees fruited ones in nyc == and as to which sour cherry you have depicted??? god only knows there are 300 varieties === thanks for this pic two important references for urban trees and pleasure they bring are now in efloraindia records Prunus cerasus L. ??
