This one is a shrub from Andaman. I had seen this in plenty in the wild near the Sea beach. Shrub was in fruiting stage. Could not spot any flowers.
Locals were calling this as Khadi phal and told me that it is edible. Date/Time: 21-12-2010 / 05:50AM
Location: Near a beach on the way to Chidiya tapu at the out skirts of Port Blair (Andaman & Nicobar). Habitat: wild Plant Habit: Shrub (2 to 3 m) Fruits were globuse (approx 8mm dia).
