Weak prostrate herb with stems 30cm or thin shrub up to 2m. leaves transversely elliptic or reniform, 0.5-2(-3) x 1-4(-5)cm, broadly acute, obtuse or emarginated, base rounded, cuneate or cordate, ± glabrous, petioles 1-2cm, stipels subulate 0.5-1mm, stipules narrowly triangular, 3-6 x 0.5-1mm. Racemes terminal or axillary, 4-5mm, standard obovate, 5-15cm. Calyx 2mm. Petals whitish or bluish , 4-5mm, standard obovate , 3-4mm broad. Pods segments 3-5 x 2.5 x 3mm, glabrous. Fl. August
