Branchlets rusty. Leaves obovate, 3-5 x 2-3 cm, base cuneate, apex obtuse, blackish green above when dry, thinly grey-pubescent below; petiole to 1.5 cm. Cymes to 6-flowered, rusty; bracts ovate, free from the calyx, but partly enveloping it below. Calyx-tube 3 mm; teeth 5, irregularly lobed. Corolla 2 cm long, yellowish green, 0.8 cm wide; tube curved, split half-way, gibbously inflated below the middle, rusty-villous; lobes 5. Stamens 5. Style 2 cm. (Loranthus tomentosus B.Heyne ex Roth). However, I suggest that the characters should be checked with an authentic description in floras, particularly Flora of India, Vol. 23 (2012), before confirming. Similar species has been identified in FOI as T. recurvus. I am unable to decide between these two.
