Prostrate annual herbs; stems pubescent. Leaves 3-foliolate; leaflets 0.7-1.8 x 0.3-0.7 cm, obovate or oblanceolate, base cuneate, apex obtuse or rounded, mucronate, appressed hairy beneath; stipules c. 3 mm long, linear-lanceolate; petiole 1-1.5 cm long. Flowers subsessile, axillary, solitary or fascicled; bracts 2-3 mm long, lanceolate. Calyx tube to 3 mm long, turbinate; lobes c. 2.5 mm long, lanceolate, sparsely ciliate. Petals yellow, clawed; standard c. 6 mm long, ovate-oblong; wings narrow; keels cohering, falcate. Stamens 10, monadelphous. Ovary c. 3 mm long, linear, hirsute; stigma capitate. Pods 2.5-5 x 0.15-0.2 cm, linear, compressed, mucronate, pubescent. Seeds many, c. 1.5 mm long, reniform. Flowering and fruiting: August-December
