This is a Acacia/ shrub, found on the road side in an abandoned canal, with minute prickles; leaflets very narrow, with a gland between the first pair of pinnae, heads axillary, white, stamens 5-10, anthers greenish; pods narrow, 4-6mm wide, 8-10 cm long, straight.
It is Desmanthus pernambucanus (L.)Thell. of Mimosaceae/ Fabaceae; It is an exotic species from Australia; a new addition
