Could this be Sageraea laurifolia?? Pl. validate.
Location: Jog falls. North karnataka. I have seen a specimen from Coorg. It is the same Sageraea laurifolia Blatter which is an illegitimate name and the correct name will be Sageraea laurina Dalzell – vide I.M.Turner in Nordic Journal of Botany 33: 287. 2015. Date/Time-15/1/2017 Sageraea laurifolia (Graham) Blatt. [Annonaceae]. In the forests north of Mumbai, the flowering peaked in November and was over by early December last year.

Saw this tree near Devgad, MH in May 2017. It was situated not far from a salt water creek. Is this some Diospyros? Please ignore Pic 3 and Pic 4 from the set above. They were inadvertently uploaded. It looks like Sageraea laurifolia (Graham) Blatt.
