Thevetia thevetioides : 2 posts by 2 authors. Attachments (2) Here is Thevetia thevetioides, Giant Yellow Oleander, native to drier areas of Mexico.
It makes a small tree to 8m/25′ tall. Flowers are considerably larger than those of T. peruviana, to approximately 10cm/4″ across, in large trusses. Foliage is corrugated in texture.
It is occasionally used as an ornamental tree here in Southern California, USA, less frequently in Florida, USA.
All parts, like Nerium, are extremely toxic.
