Please identify this Dendrobium species.


I have not a complit plant photo, but the plant is 30-50 cm long and 1-1.5 cm thick, flowering in the month of May, flower is very big about 6-7cm across, callected from Sikkim.


Could it be Dendrobium hookerianum?

I think this is Dendrobium pulchellum.


Just for your information. Dendrobium pulchellum was last reported by Hooker in Flora of British India in 1890 and never afterwards. This is a nice information to publish.
