I searched the net and found one apparently similar orchid, the name of which is mentioned as Dendrobium salaya. Species : UNKNOWN Habit & Habitat : ornamental herb Date : 10/9/12 & 11/9/12 Place : Howrah Beautiful orchid. This is a Dendrobium hybrid. Sir its Dendrobium Hybrid, this species commonly used in cut flower production. Sir its Dendrobium Sonia a hybrid orchid which is cultivated as the major orchid cut flower producer in Malaysia, Thailand, and Philippines now in India also. It is not Dendrobium Sonia. I am attaching a picture of Dendrobium Sonia from an exhibition at Thane. Looks it is a Dendrobium phalaenopsis hybrid. Yes …, it may be. There are many verity of dendrobium hybrid…….
