Chakrata Botanical excursion 30th and 31st March:
Balkar ji led a botanical excursion to Chakrata for two days on the above dates.
We were 15 persons in all with Balkar ji, Amit Kotia ji, Smita ji and myself. Others were two botany teachers, eight Research scholars doing PhD and one laymen.
It was personally my 1st such excursion with botanists and I thoroughly enjoyed it, with a lot of learnings at personal and professional front.
Kudos to Balkar ji for organising such a wonderful trip and making me a part of it.
The way Balkar ji took the initiative and organised everything speaks a volume about him. He is a true hero for many of us.
Amit Kotia ji was at his best, helping us all with the identifications, where ever we got stuck.
Hope for more such excursions in future.
