Leaves linear to narrow lanceolate, decurrent. I think yes Anaphalis busua. May be Anaphalis contorta as at

Can you check the leaves and species found there ? Amaranthaceae herb for id 231210MK3: please help to id this herb species found in bear shola of Kodaikanal. Are these from Amaranthaceae or belong to a different family?

Leaves Type/ Shape/ Size- 3 x 0.4 cm Inflorescence Type/ Size- head Flowers Size/ Colour/ Calyx/ Bracts- pinkish Fruits Type/ Shape/ Size Seeds- not more than 1cm across Can it be, by any chance a species of Gnaphalium, Asteraceae? Asteraceae for sure. Could be Anaphalis or Gnaphalium. I would have gone for Anaphalis but seeing Nidhan ji’s comment I am getting doubtful. Perhaps it may help if some one may list species of these two genera reported from that area. i think this may be species of Anaphilis The same plant taken at Nilgiris attached for helping in identification of this Compositae. The habitat was a grassland. What this herbal species could be?
