Carissa species

This plant image was taken in Chennai, South India in the month of July. For ID help plz.

Carissa for sure. Need more  details of the foliage/ fruits for correct ID of the species. C.spinarum is seen in GNP and IIT campus which also look similar to this. As the photos are often deceptive more info is required.

I think it is some species of Carissa (Apocynaceae)
