Orchid for ID : Atlanta Botanical Garden, Atlanta, USA : 12APR20 : AK-45 : 9 posts by 4 authors. Attachments (4) Orchids seen at the Conservatory in ABG during my visit in October, 2018. Cant make out properly, but this is Catasetum. could be a hybrid, but I need to check proper image of single flower and whole plant. I could find a few more pictures. Hope these are helpful. Attachments (6) After a lot of searching, I could find a picture exactly matching with my pictures. It says Catasetum fimbriatum. But when I click on that picture, a slightly different picture opens. It says from Atlanta Botanical Garden. Are the flowers variable? Looks like it, but there are so many hybrids that its hard to tell. References: |
