Plant pendent. Stem slender, compresed, covered by leaf sheaths; sheaths tubular, 1.5-2cm long. Leaves distichous, fleshy, linear-oblong to oblong-lanceolate, 1-ribbed beneath, ape x gradually and finely acuminate, abruptly narrowed towards channelled base, jointed, sheaths , 8.5-30 x 0.6-1.1cm. Inflorescence lateral (a x illary),leaf-opposed,pendent, racemose, la x ly 5- to many-flowered; peduncle glabrous, sheathed at base, 0.7-2cm long; sheaths tubular; rachis glabrous, 2-11cm long; floral bracts ovate, subacute, scale-like, 1-1.2 x 0.4-0.5mm. Flower scentless, 3-5mm long; sepals and petals pale yellow with intra-marginal bands of golden to red-brown, lip white with purple-pink apical lobe; pedicel and ovary glabrous, 2-2.5mm long. Sepals similar,ovate-eliptic to ovate-spathulate, subacute, spreading, 4.5 x 1.5-2mm. Petals obovate-oblong, obtuse, spreading, 3.4 x 1-1.5mm. Lip fleshy, adnate ti the column base, saccate-spurred, 3-4mm long; hypochile with 2 short, suborbicular to triangular lateral lobes; epichile concave, oblong, acute, spur funnel shaped, obtuse,septate and bearing a bulbous, projecting callus from front and back walls, 3-4 x 1-1.5mm. Column very short, stout, semi-terete, lacking a foot; anthers cap depressed, long-beaked; caudicle long; tapering; stigma obovate. Fruit ellipsoid, 3-ridged, 1.2-1.8 x 0.4-0.5cm.
