Again the issue is Catalogue of Life did not give its distribution in India.
J.Fryer may have distinguished species found in India from those seen in China.

it grows that tall?


I could not find its distribution anywhere. Is it a cultivated sps.? IF wild sps., it could be a new addition to India.
By the way could it be Cotoneaster frigidus Wall.  ??

I think you are right! It does look like Cotoneaster frigidus!
