Found green lines near the stem. I suppose this is typical Linnean species of Cucumis melo Cucumis melo : Cucurbitaceae : Bangalore : 150914 : AK-12 : 3 posts by 2 authors. Attachments (1). “While Europeans distinguish between true cantaloupes (smooth skin) and netted melons, Americans use the term “cantaloupe” to refer to the netted, orange-fleshed muskmelons. It is also sometimes referred to as a muskmelon. In fact var, reticulatus (in Europe) and var. cantapulensis (in ISA) are used interchangeably and are synonyms of C. melo according to POWO.
