Please identify this Cyperaceae from Kannur District of Kerala

It seems to be Cyperus surinamensis Rottb., a recently introduced species, reported from Karnataka and Kerala. Check whether the culms (stems) are retrorsely scabrous.

ID Cyperus surinamensis ?: 1 image.
Have found this species in Shibpur, Howrah District, West Bengal. Initially thought of Cyperus eragrostis and Cyperus compressus, but both seem an unfit match now. On the other hand, the appearance closely matches with Cyperus surinamensis, reported from Kerala since 2013 and reported from West Bengal only last year. Can anyone kindly help regarding

Please check. Image is not clear.
