My ID #77 is of C. peduncularis identified by you. Cottonia peduncularis has very long peduncles inflorescence axis about 60 to 70 cm & then Cottonia has only one species so my identification was wrong I have hurried without watching pictures properly It is always advisable to please take some time to take pictures, from multiple angles and good closeups. Otherwise you wont be able to get your plants identified. I think this is Diplocentrum congestum, but not easy to make out. Yes, it is, thank you very much for ID my Orchid. Only one individual was growing there too height so that it doesn’t easy to capture in more angles, and raining also, so I spent more time than as usual. Not only this, all flowers are attacked by caterpillar. .
Flower date: 22MAY2024, 02.15pm Location: bloomed near Vannappuram Idukki Kerala INDIA (same plant) Beautiful, Diplocentrum congestum.
