Yes, it is Disperis neilgherrensis, dear Saroj ji, thank you very much for ID my Orchid

Is it possible for you to dissect this flower?

Less possibilities, because it is growing in entry restricted Eravikulam National Park, Rajaimalai, Munnar.

Who is the director there? I think it is possible to dissect for research purposes after getting permission from the Director of the park.

The authority is Kerala Forest and Wildlife Department

… pictures are correct and anything which looks like his images are correct. Rest are Disperis zeylanica which some ignorant person merged under Disperis neilgherrensis. Infact when Trimen saw and described D. zeylanica he was well aware of D. neilgherrensis and he stated that the other species was also there. As I always said, just because Kew follows something, doesnt mean they are correct.

I hope someone will take in initiative to make corrections.
