Hatoo, Narkanda, (Shimla) 3400m October 2017 Hope Elsholzia cristata In this case spikes/ cones are compact with flowers on all the sides. In E. cristata, flowers are borne on only one side and spikes are not compact. Sir, I visited the place in late season, so I could not click the flowers. Thanks, … Pl. also check at
/species/a—l/l/lamiaceae/elsholtzia Although compact spikes were appearing to have flowers on all the sides in most of my photographs, some spikes in one photograph were having flowers only on one side.
So, I am also considering it as Elsholtzia ciliata/ Elsholtzia cristata.
Today I’m posting photographs of Elsholtzia ciliata (Thunb.) Hyl., clicked from Jalori Pass, Himachal Pradesh in Sept., 2019.
