Tree For ID : Kenya : 09SEP16 : AK-05 : 05/05 : 3 posts by 2 authors. Attachments (2) A huge tree seen in Nairobi during the first week of July. Only dry pods, no flowers. A fabaceae member. The pods are close to Tipu Tree, Tipuana tipu, I have seen at Lalbagh. Seems Pterolobium sp. Thanks for your suggestion. I was sent a picture of the flowers, they were yellow in color, like Tipuana tipu. |
