I have recently done my vastushastra course. My Guru requires more information on a particular tree. She has told me the name as ‘Plakash‘. Kindly send me its botanical name and picture if possible.


There are three trees which are known as Plaksha in Sanskrit

Though the sapling is very young, but this should be Ficus lacor Buch.-Ham. A much similar species to F. virens, figs are densely woolly tomentose.
