Scandent shrubs. Leaves distichous, oblong-elliptic, glabrous, abaxially pubescent and glabrescent, densely covered with brownish red tomentose, adaxially glabrous or pubescent among veins, base cuneate to occasionally rounded, margin entire, apex acuminate, petiole 1 cm. Stipules caducous, lanceolate. Figs axillary on leafy or leafless branchlets, globose or pear shaped, surface sparsely tuberculate, glabrous, pubescent, or densely brown hairs, inside with bristles, sessile or pedunculate, involucral bracts reniform, pubescent. Male flowers near apical pore, pedicellate, calyx lobes 4, oblanceolate, unequal in size, stamens 2, filaments very short, anthers oblong, mucronate. Gall flowers pedicellate, calyx lobes 4 spatulate, unequal in size, style subapical. Female flowers subsessile, calyx lobes 4, style subapical, stigma small. Achenes oblong, slightly depressed, Syconus fruit. Evergreen to deciduous forests

No fruiting yet but enclosing some images of the same plant at same location shot on 20 March, 2017. The old and new photographs are temporarly identified as Ficus pubigera (Wall. ex Miq.) Miq. The specimens should be verified physically. Thank you …! It is climber/creeper attached to the tree. Request for validation Ficus pubigera (Wall. ex Miq.) Miq. Could it be Ficus hederacea Roxb. as it is listed in the
book Flora of Kathmandu Valley but not F. pubigera.

Fresh images of young fruit/ flower of the same plant dated: 26 April 2018. Photographs are identified as Ficus pubigera. Young figs hairy. matured figs glabrous.

To me looks different from your original post. It is the same plant in one month difference ! Are these also images of Ficus pubigera as stated by … from the same plant taken one month back? I guess it is the initial stage of flowering/fruiting. All the younger and matured photos are confirmed as Ficus pubigera (Wall. ex Miq.) Miq. Location: Soureni, Mirik, India

01. Ficus pubigera: Fig surface tuberculate or postulate by lenticels and peduncle up to 0.5cm long, leaf lower surface not tessellate Fig diameter is 1 cm. and less. So this is Ficus pubigera (Wall. ex Miq.) Brandis ??
