Assam to W. Malesia: Andaman Is., Assam, Bangladesh, Borneo, Malaya, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Sumatera, Thailand, Vietnam as per POWO;

Widespread in continental southeast Asia and on the Sunda Shelf, especially in Peninsular Thailand. Occurs from sea level up to at least 1,000 m asl.
Found in primary and secondary evergreen forest.

I first thought of a Lamiaceae but it must be another family that I do not know how to identify.

Je pense qu’il s’agit du genre Globba.
Pour l’espéce je dirai sessiliflora mais il ya aussi marantina, multiflora et orixensis qui ressemblent…
