Avenue Tree for ID : Orange Flowers : Atlanta, Georgia : 18JAN19 : AK-35 : 5 posts by 2 authors. Attachments (5)
A small avenue tree seen in Atlanta during Oct,18.
Kindly omit the Orange Flowers in subject line.
Wrongly entered
It may be Ilex decidua aka Possumhaw Holly.
If that is the correct ID, the tree tends to send up numerous suckers so if this is a street tree it’s most likely a hybrid, possibly I. decidua ‘Warren’s Red’.
Thanks for the id.
Yes these were small Avenue trees.
Hope they help in identifying the tree.
