climber? really. how tall was it and and do you have pictures of the leaves face and back? this is not … the florida climbing aster… very different leaves and florets. need better details in the pictures
The vine was growing with many other plants and trees. I couldn’t get closer. Had to zoom to get these pictures.

Looks like a white coloured sunflower plant ?
I think I had a similar flower identified as Olearia tomentosa. However, this is just a wild guess by me that this could be the same flower.
