Yes, …, it’s matching,

Montanoa grandiflora and Montanoa bipinnatifida, both appear to be close.
I could not find the difference/ keys between the two. Both seem to be introduced in India as per POWO.

I am not confident about species of Montanoa.
I checked the statistics of Montanoa observations in the districts of Nilgiris (4) and Coimbatore (25)
All of them belong to Montanoa hibiscifolia Benth.

But no distribution shown in India as per
https://powo.science.kew.org/results?q=Montanoa%20hibiscifolia
While other species have distribution in India as per
https://powo.science.kew.org/taxon/urn:lsid:ipni.org:names:233561-1
Maybe we can find out the differences between the two.

Leaf Characters
Montanoa bipinnatifida :: bipinnatifid, longer than the broad
Montanoa hibiscifolia :: palmatifid, almost as long as broad
I am not sure of palmatifid, but we can clearly see that the leaf is broader than long.
