Schum. Habitat: Grows wild Habit : Climber(Liana) Fruits :Follicle Is it Dregea sp. ? : Attachments (1). 5 posts by 3 authors. Date : 19-03-2013. Habitat : Wild. Habit : climber I think the picture is from Mizoram. Only species of Dregea so far in efi: Dregea volubilis Please send some more pictures of the foliage, flowers etc. for proper identification. Nevertheless the fruits does not seem to be that of D.volubilis. May not be even Dragea species. I am not sure if immature follicle looks like this picture (in this thread) though ‘Bengal Plants’ describes, “Fruit of 2 thick, hard, winged or ribbed follicles.” And ‘Bengal Plants’ has two more varieties of D volubilis – 1) var. lacuna and 2) var, angustifolia. This might be Myriopteron paniculatum Griff. (FBI. IV. 11) syn. of Myriopteron extensum (Wight & Arn.) K. Schum.
