396 ID wild tree: 23 high res. images.
Please ID wild rare tree. I observed that it’s bark will get attack (or consuming) from Sus scrofa (?) frequently (image#4425).
… identified it as Nostolachma crassifolia of Rubiaceae
I have doubts of this being Nostolachma crassifolia as per description in IBP and POWO specimen, as the inflorescence is not in subsessile axillary cymes.
I could not find any match as per comparative images at
https://efloraofindia.com/2011/01/31/rubiaceae/
I will try to do it next week and see whether there is any difference.
I am trying but not getting anywhere.
