Four DAYS –Three NIGHTS Sahayadri Water falls-Trekking Expedition AT GUJARAT – MAHARASHTRA BORDER. PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM The purpose of the program is to expose the YHAI members to a greater adventure and rough out the rigors of plodding through snow with a sense of love for the nature and outdoor recreational activity aiming at promoting National Integration. ABOUT THE PROGRAM The participants will enjoy a splendid panorama of hills, refreshing waterfalls, beautiful landscapes, breath taking trees, The hilly trek of Sahayadri Ghats provides trekking trails as steep and difficult as the Himalayan climbs. The trekking route will therefore, offer the same thrills and excitement as in return journey some additional attractions like jeep ride, bird watching, and Photography. To be with the nature is the prime thing in our life, come and see what lies at –Sagai Forest Range and Sahayadri mountain range on Gujarat-Maharashtra border area, Fees: – Rs.2150/= Direct Reporting CAMP AT DEDIAPADA.–for members. Will cover simple nutritious vegetarian meal, tented accommodations, Local Transportation, Forest entry fees, expert guidance, etc. HOW TO REACH The Reporting camp Dediapada is located on Rajpipla-Shahade Gujarat State Highway. The nearest railway stations are Ankleshwar (81 Kms), Bharuch (85 km) and Vadodara (133km.). State bus service is available. Direct bus service is also available from Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Bharuch, Ankleshwar. Direct trains are available from Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and major cities of India. Age:- The minimum age of participant is 10 years. HOW TO JOIN Members desirous of joining this program may apply on the prescribed registration form duly supported by a latest passport size Photo, along with a DD of requisite fees or Deposit the Registration fees to our Bank Account Youth Hostels Association of India No.31695501595 S.B.I. CANCELLATION RULES In case you are unable to join this trek you will get a refund of Rs.1100/- provided your request is received directly to us at least 10 days in advance from the date of your joining. Any unforeseen event / strike or natural calamity will not be considered as a cause of cancellation. Refund will be given after completion of the program. How ever Suitable replacement is acceptable, He / she should be member of youth hostel. Things to carry: Ruck sake ( Small size), Cotton T-shirts/Jerseies-, Shirts-2, Pants-2,Cotton socks-3 pairs, Under garments-4,Towel, Napkin, Good Sports shoes, Sleeper, Lunch box, Plate, Mug, Spoon, Glass, Small knife, Sun cap, Goggles , Toilet kit, water bottle (1 liter plastic), Torch, note-pen, toilet paper, Talcum powder, Vicks, 3 news papers, Medicine that you use regularly. Things not to carry: Costly – ornaments, mobile phones, cameras, AND walkman, MP – 3, video games, etc. Schedule of programme.
Programme schedule and routes are subject to change without prior notice. Safety- We have taken almost care to ensure safety of the participants, the Youth Hostels Association of India cannot be held responsible for any accident, illness and such other unforeseen eventualities. Attention – Use of Alcohol and Narcotics of any description are strictly prohibited during the course of the programme. This is environment friendly trek, do not letter any wrapper or plastic or spoil the trail in any way. General rules. 1. Registration of trek will be done on first come first serve basis. 2. The cost above covers, cost of Food, guidance, Forest fees, Tented (night) accommodations, transportation from Ddiapada- to Saribar, Dahel, Ninai etc. 3. Simple vegetarian food will be provided during this programme. 4. No. refund/compensation will be given if participant leave the programme in between for any reason. 5. YHAI Vadodara Unit reserves the right to amend/alter any terms and conditions of the programme. 6. If Participant does not report in time at the reporting place for any reason, No.refund/compensation will be given. 7. Cancellation after registration – 50% refund if written/SMS/E-mail received before 10 days of the reporting date Or 100% refund if suitable replacement is received –He/She should be member of Youth Hostel. Due care is taken for the safety of the participants but YHAI organizer will not be responsible for any mishap/accident / injury / illness etc. Ultimate responsibility lies on the participants only. “Remember Trekking is not a Picnic.” Trekking is a Royal Fashion to enjoy difficulties.
