Asteraceae Herb For ID : 260114 : AK-21 : Attachments (1). 1 post by 1 author.
A tiny herb found growing wild in Oman.
Flowers suggest Asteraceae.
Leaves were greenish purple in color.
Picture taken on 18/1/14.

This was subsequently identified by Dr Annette Patzelt of Oman Botanic Gardens as Senecio breviflorus.
I missed updating my post.
There are hardly any correct pictures on searching.

A very old picture of mine.
Picture taken on 16/2/2007.
A tiny herb, seen growing wild in Muscat, Oman with very small yellow flowers.
Unfortunately, I have only this picture, that too not a good one.

Distributed as Unidentified,  A tiny herb, seen growing wild in Muscat, Oman
Should be shifted under Asteraceae

It remains a mystery.

Asteraceae sp. ?

Senecio??

Could be.

Difficult for me to say anything with this image.

Senecio breviflorus (Kadereit) Greuter ???

Thanks a lot … for the suggested id.
I will try searching further.

Does it match?

It looks very close.
Your identification should be correct since I have recorded the same Species from another location in Oman.
