Cotoneaster species?- Paddar valley, J&K

Kindly identify the plant.

Date: 17th October 2010.

Location: Paddar valley district Kishtwar J&K.

Altitude: 2200 meters asl.

Plant height: 2-3 meters

Plant habit/habitat: Wild shrub.

Many parallel stems often used for making hard sticks for axes and other implements.

Any idea about the family or genus?

Cotoneaster sp.

This species is somewhat looking like Ficus spp but may be different. Not sure, exactly no any idea and not seen properly.

No idea can be drawn from the picture.
