Strobilanthes ?
yes it looks like strobilanthes
What are the species reported from there?
Sorry, I don’t know the species from this region very well. I would have a look at the very variable Strobilanthes lupulina or one of its relatives as a starter. On a positive note there are not many Strobilanthes recorded from Odisha so there are not too many possibilities to review
Would like to hear from you.
The plant specimen I shared in the e-Flora India group is a shrub reaching about 3–4 ft in height. It was collected near a stream at an altitude of approximately 1200 meters. For your kind reference, I have attached additional photographs along with the corresponding herbarium material. Unfortunately, I was unable to capture photographs of the internal floral structures.
I think this appears to be Strobilanthes jeyporensis as per GBIF specimens (one, two) and as per attachments.
there is record of Strobilanthes jeyporensis from Sapparala of Vishakhapatnam dist, and North coastal distadjacent to Odissa state, hence it may be S.jeyporensis
.
