Looks like other sp. Leaf seems rather rough.

I went through eFI page of Syzygium claviflorum
I checked on the internet and came across one publication by:
Shareef, Sm & Kumary, M & E.S., Santhosh & As, Shaju. (2010). Syzygium claviflorum (Myrtaceae) – a new record for south India.. Rheedea. 20. 53-55.
The publication says that the Flowering & Fruiting is March – May.
Do we consider there could be some variation in the flowering-fruiting period ?
Also to note that the distribution is not yet recorded in the Nilgiris.
