Thottea adichilthottiana (Aristolochiaceae), a new species from Ernakulam, Western Ghats, India– July 2014 Webbia 69(2) (Abstract: A new species of Thottea Rottb. (Aristolochiaceae) from Ernakulam District, Kerala, India, Thottea adichilthottiana Sunil and Naveen Kumar, is described and illustrated. The species is most similar to Thottea siliquosa (Lam.) Ding Hou, but differs from it in having a smaller habit with obovate or broadly elliptic–oblong leaves, depressed globose flower buds, pale yellow flowers, perianth lobes with long multicellular deep reddish purple hairs inside, 7–11 stigmatic lobes and in its green and glabrous fruits.)
