Perennials. Culms tufted, erect, to 60 cm high. Leaves to 30 cm long, 0.3-0.4 cm wide. Spikelets distant, many-flowered, 0.8-1.1 cm long, lanceolate. Lower glume asymmetrical, 0.3-0.4 cm long. Upper glume 0.4-0.5 cm long. Lemma 0.4-0.5 cm long, 2-fid at tip, awned from the sinus; awn 0.2-0.3 cm long. Palea narrowly winged, ciliolate on the margins. Flowering and fruiting: October-December

3 high res. images. According to habitat it’s T.bromoides Tripogon jacquemontii. The other species shown in the book page T.bromoides is not found in North India. Seems that the ID of the collection mentioned needs to be checked |
